Handmade, made in Argentina.
The true differential of our products is in the detail. Each model comes to life through a strictly artisanal process, where the hands of our master craftsmen transform the raw material into a lasting work of art.
Every pair of GUIDO passes through eight pairs of hands before reaching yours.
-
Leather selection — Each hide is chosen for its texture and resilience.
-
Pattern cutting — The template is drawn and cut directly on the leather.
-
Skiving — Each piece is thinned at the edges so the seam lies flat.
-
Stitching — Pieces are joined together by hand.
-
Lasting — The shoe takes its final shape on a wooden last.
-
Sole attachment — The sole is glued and nailed. Natural soles are edge-stitched.
-
Finishing — Edges are cleaned, dye is applied, and the leather is polished.
-
Quality control — Only what meets the standard leaves the workshop.
The leathers chosen are unique and natural; therefore, they may have variations in tone, markings, or grain. These should not be considered imperfections but rather essential characteristics of the chosen raw material.
